Harvested in the mountains of northern California, sage has long been burned to purify and cleanse a space. We use it each and every day here at Creek Retreat.
Salvia Apiana is a plant that grows prevalently in California and Mountain West. * 4-4 1/2" length
Usage: * Hold the sage at a 45-degree angle and light the end you are not holding. Let it burn with an active flame for about 20 seconds, then gently blow out the flame so that you see orange embers on one end. It should release a white smoke, and then you can start the process of clearing your space. You can cleanse as you wish, careful not to place sage on any non-heat safe surface.
